Colors struck me as being a fitting opening to a new site. We all remember the sound, (stateside of course), it meant the beginning of a new day. This site was developed to bring hope, help, and support to Combat Veterans and their families; however, this site will prove to be a great asset to those Veterans and their families presently on active duty, others who live daily with the symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and any one who has an interest in Veterans' issues. Maybe in some small way this site will become a "New Day" of hope for those who visit.

 Acknowledgements:

       I thank God each day for my wife Terri, who , when I had my first "meltdown" due to PTSD, studied all the information she could find on the subject. She sat for 12 hours at the VA hospital as I had my prostrate removed due to agent orange. Today she is a strong woman and a very vital part of my therapy. She now co- manages a site for women living with the effects of PTSD and still uses "Recovering from the War" by Patience Mason as her second Bible.

       My sincere " thanks" to Angel Pavon, a vocational rehab councelor, who first saw through my impenetrable wall of denial to see a combat Vet in need of help.

       I am eternally grateful to Rene, my therapist, my psychologist Jay , Dr. Guzman and the rest of the staff at the VA Medical Center in West Palm Beach Florida, without whose concern, guidance,knowledge,high degree of professionalism, and compassion, I " would NOT" be here to produce this work. I am also indebted to the men of "Renes' Raiders", my PTSD group who laugh, cry, and share their lives, give support, help, and comfort in many ways. They are true examples of "Brothers Bound By Honor.
